Swedish Championship in Sundsvall, Sweden

At the river delta the contest takes place

The first Swedish Championship in Canopy Piloting is hosted by Skydive Sundsvall in collaboration with the Swedish Parachuting Association.

Canopy Piloting consists of the disciplines Speed, Distance and Accuracy. Participants will compete in all disciplines. The competition will be determined in nine rounds, three in each discipline. Each jump is worth 100 points. If a participant wins all the rounds he receives a total of 900 points.
The results are measured in percentage relative to the best participants performance in each round. In other words, the best canopy pilot receives a maximum 100 of points and following pilots receives points depending on how their performance is relative to this.

How does one compete?
Speed - The jumper who travels fastest between the first and last gate, 70 meters, is the winner of the discipline.

Distance - The jumper who travels the longest distance after passing through the first gate is the winner of the discipline. Easy!

Accuracy The competitor who travels through all of the water gates and lands standing up in the Center of 7 zones earns the most points and is the winner of the discipline.
